J24610 Automated Pouch Loading & Tray Handling System
Our high‑performance pouch loading system is engineered to seamlessly integrate with upstream LA500 pouching equipment, receiving pouches 6‑up across as they travel down a flat‑belt conveyor. Pouches are then transferred single‑file into the robotic loading cell via a Farason‑supplied AC‑driven conveyor, fully encoder‑tracked for precise positioning. Manually erected tray flats are placed into an AC‑driven, flighted tray conveyor, where each tray is accurately tracked and prepared for automatic loading. The system is designed to handle dual pouch stacks—either 8‑count or 10‑count—in consistent orientation without changing tray dimensions. At the heart of the system, an ABB IRB‑360 Delta Robot equipped with a 2‑up vacuum EOAT uses integrated Cognex vision, top lighting, and conveyor encoder feedback to locate and pick individual pouches on the fly. The robot performs a rapid pick‑pick‑place pattern, loading two pouches simultaneously into waiting trays with perpendicular pick motion. With this highly efficient design, the system achieves throughput rates exceeding 230 pouches per minute, ensuring speed, accuracy, and dependable tray presentation for uninterrupted operation.
